Description
Introducing the SP5014 NTX – the ultimate hydraulic-controlled self-propelled grinder that combines power, versatility and stability with a rubber track undercarriage. This innovative machine is available with a range of engine options, including 27 HP Kohler, 35 HP Vanguard or 37 HP Vanguard EFI, and a wireless remote control for added convenience.
The SP5014 NTX boasts a unique rubber track system with multiple idler rollers and spring tensioning that ensures optimal efficiency for running and tracking characteristics. Not only does this system minimize ground pressure and disturbance, but it also provides a stable grinding platform and go-anywhere traction on any terrain.
Featuring a large cutter wheel with a diameter of 21 inches and a thickness of 1 1/4 inches, the SP5014 NTX delivers maximum cutting power and flywheel momentum. With feather-touch hydraulic controls, tapered roller bearings on the jackshaft and cutter wheel for reduced maintenance, and a proprietary rubber track undercarriage that provides positive climbing power over the roughest terrain, the SP5014 NTX is the perfect grinding solution for any job. The spring-tensioned track keeps the tracks on the rollers and allows for easy adjustment, making this machine the ultimate tool for precision grinding.
Designed specifically for Europe, the Carlton machine is only 30″ wide (760mm) and narrow enough to fit through most doors and gates, making it perfect for those hard-to-reach areas. The expandable track can widen to 45″ (1150mm), providing tremendous stability in sloped or unstable ground. Equipped with a 40hp Kohler engine that meets stage 5 European compliance standards, the Carlton Stump Grinder comes with a remote control as standard for safer and more efficient working conditions. The Razor Wheel setup allows for a very efficient cutting system, which burns less fuel and saves time on each stump. The hydraulically controlled blade, which works off the remote, allows you to level out the grindings for happy customers and adds to the machine’s stability.
